Teri has been employed by American Electric Power since September of 1985 and has held a variety of positions on both the regulated and unregulated sides of the business. Since July of 2004, she has been Director of Billing & Credit Operations which includes responsibility for bill presentment, back-office billing issues, special contract billing, load research, credit policy and payment options. Teri holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University with majors in statistics and psychology and Master of Applied Statistics and Master of Business Administration degrees from The Ohio State University. Teri is originally from and currently lives in Columbus, Ohio and has 2 dogs (Siberian Huskies Peka and Sadie), 1 spouse (Mark), and no children. She enjoys golf, snow skiing, reading and playing the piano and endures cooking, cleaning and gardening.
Teri has been a member of WiNUP (Ohio Chapter) since
1997. She was on the Ohio Chapter Program Committee
in 1998 and 1999, was the Ohio Chapter Vice-Chair in
2000, was Ohio Chapter Chair in 2001, and was on the
International Public Relations/Marketing Committee
in 2002.
Teri has also been the International Treasurer
(2004), International Secretary (2005),
International Vice President/President-Elect (2006), and held the position of President in 2007.
