Panel Discussion: Living Courageous Leadership
In recent a Harvard Business Review, the focus was on Courageous Leadership. Two articles will be the focus Now is the Time for Courage by Ranjay Gulati and Every Team needs a Super-Facilitator by Jamil Zaki. 

What you can expect to hear is what is Courageous leadership. There will be a series questions for the panelists on what living a courageous leadership means to them around:
  • Creating a positive Narrative
  • Cultivating Confidence
  • Taking Small steps
  • Finding Connections
  • Staying Calm
  • Skillsets or Superpowers
  • Empowering People
  • Providing a Super-Facilitator playbook
Time will be made available for attendees to ask questions. 



Panel Host Mary Hall, Manager Client Management PJM. 

Ms. Hall is currently the Manager of Client Management at PJM Interconnection. Mary has 12 years experience in the energy industry and holds a BA in Business Communications and an MBA.

Ms. Hall resides in Pennsylvania and is a lifelong Pennsylvanian.



Panelist - Suzette E. Adams

Senior Manager, Energy Acquisition – PECO Energy

Suzette Adams is a seasoned energy leader with over 20 years of progressive leadership in natural gas supply acquisition, procurement strategy, and regulatory compliance. As Senior Manager of Gas Supply & Transportation at PECO, she oversees a $900M system supply portfolio and drives cost optimization, risk mitigation, and off-system sales initiatives. Known for her strategic vision and collaborative leadership, Suzette serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives and a champion of cross-functional synergy.

Her expertise spans contract negotiation, financial analysis, and customer strategy, with a strong track record of empowering teams and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Suzette is a dynamic communicator and advocate for equitable energy access, serving on the boards of Campaign for Working Families and Trumark Financial Credit Union. She holds an MBA from Eastern University and a BS in Accounting from Temple University.

Panelist - Dianna Tomlinson
Dianna Tomlinson is the Safety & Health Director for Southwestern Electric Power Company, which generates, transmits and delivers electric service to customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. Her responsibilities include leading and managing SWEPCO’s safety and health programs to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role is both strategic and operational, focusing on preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and incidents. She is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with more than 20 years of occupational safety and health experience.

Dianna has held various positions in Safety and Health at AEP including Safety and Health Director for the AEP SPP region, Safety and Health manager for SWEPCO Utilities, Safety and Health manager for PSO and SWEPCO Generation, and as the Flint Creek Power Plant Industrial Hygiene Consultant. Prior to her service at AEP, she worked in various safety and health roles within the chemical and defense industries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed her master’s degree in occupational health and industrial hygiene from the University of Texas at Tyler.
