Kristin Duggins

Kristin Duggins
President

Kristin is a Continuous Improvement and Human Performance Lead at American Electric Power (AEP) / Public Service Company of Oklahoma, serving in the Power Generation sector. With over a decade of experience at AEP/PSO, Kristin brings a strong foundation in operational excellence and performance enhancement. Prior to her tenure in the energy industry, she built a career in finance and accounting, with backgrounds in municipality and banking. 

Kristin has been an active member of WiNUP since 2017 and played a pivotal role in founding the Texhoma Chapter. She has held leadership positions including Vice Chair, Chair, and International Board Representative. Currently, she contributes to the chapter’s social media, Website, and Fundraising Committees. At the international level, Kristin has served on four annual conference planning committees, where she proudly introduced the New Member/First-Time Attendee Meet and Greet initiative. She has served on Mentoring and Professional Development international committees. 

Kristin is deeply committed to servant leadership and community stewardship. She currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Owasso Education Foundation, where she supports initiatives that enhance educational opportunities in her local community. In addition, she co-chairs Women at Work, an AEP Employee Resource Group focused on fostering inclusion, professional development, and support for women across the organization. Kristin is passionate about empowering others and is dedicated to the growth and development of both her colleagues and the broader community.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Kristin moved to Lawton, Oklahoma after marrying, and relocated to the Tulsa area in 2020. She and her husband, Jimmy, have three children—Blake, Benjamin, and Blair—and share their home with three beloved dogs: Bam, Brie, and Baylee.

Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Communications from Cameron University in 2010.

Trishia Swayne-2025

Trishia Swayne
Immediate Past President

Trishia has been providing engineering and consulting services to utilities for nearly 22 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics and an MBA, both from Murray State University in KY. Her goal is to make a positive lasting impact in all that she does, continue to learn and grow, and she is passionate about cultivating interest in STEM-related fields and connecting with women within our industry.

Trishia is a registered professional engineer. Her primary expertise is in distribution planning to help utilities provide safe and reliable power to customers. She is currently a Senior Manager in Business Development for Enercon Services, Inc.. In this role, she helps manage client relationships and identify new growth opportunities for her company to help utilities with engineering needs.

Trishia joined WiNUP in 2016. She has held Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair offices for the Nashville Chapter. She has served as our International Executive Committee Secretary for two years, Vice President, and President prior to her current role as Immediate Past President.

Personally, she loves to volunteer, garden, play guitar and sing, and spend time with her family and friends. Trishia has been married for 18 years and has a 15-year-old son and two golden retrievers.

Nikki Militello

Nikki Miletello
Vice President/President-Elect

Nikki has worked at PJM Interconnection, L.L.C (PJM) for over 17 years. She began in the industry as a co-op while finishing her BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. Nikki spent eight years within PJM’s Operations Division and then moved to Markets holding a variety of roles. Prior to her current role, she was the manager of Applied Innovation and managed a team that supports PJM by researching, building and evaluating how to apply innovative solutions to address and prepare for challenges. Currently, Nikki is the manager of the Interconnection Projects department, responsible for the PJM Interconnection Process from application to agreement.

Nikki joined WiNUP in 2018 and shortly after took on the secretary role of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. In 2019 she moved into the Vice Chair role and in 2020 was honored to Chair the Chapter. In 2021 and 2022, she was selected as the International Board Representative for the chapter. Nikki has been an active member of the International Member Development since 2020 as well as participated in the 2025 Conference Planning Committee. Nikki currently chairs the International Ways & Means Committee as well as is the appointed Membership Chair for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

On a personal level, she has been married for almost 14 years and is the mother of two amazing little boys, AJ (10) and Logan (7). She is very involved in her church as well as local and state Vex Robotics Competitions. She enjoys reading, mainly fiction, but her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family.

Cindy Owen 2026

Cindy Owen
Secretary

Cindy has over 30 years of experience and is currently Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Transmission at the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG Power). Cindy provides a broad range of functionally unique administrative and technical duties in principal support of the Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Transmission, and support of Directors within the Transmission and Power Supply Departments.

Since joining WiNUP at the end of 2019, Cindy has enjoyed serving as a Chapter officer, International Board Representative, committee member and then Chair for the Professional Development Committee, committee member and then Chair for the Mentoring Committee, and as a committee member for the Ways and Means Committee, Conference Planning Committee, Member Publications Committee, and Chapter Achievement Award Committee.

She is passionate about the professional growth and development of others as well as herself. She is a Certified Chief of Staff and a member of the Chief of Staff Association, a Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) through PMI, and a Working Genius Certified Facilitator. Cindy has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from the University of West Georgia.

Judy Hurd 2026

Judy Hurd
Treasurer 

Judy has been employed by American Electric Power since July 1989 and has held a variety of positions in Marketing and Customer Services. She is currently a Business Services Account Manager Senior for Appalachian Power Company and serves as the Net Metering/Solar Lead for her state. Her prior roles include Customer Accounting Supervisor in satellite offices throughout the Company's Charleston, West Virginia footprint, Billing and Accounting Lead, and Customer Services Account Representative.

In her current role, Judy assists medium demand commercial and industrial customers throughout a seven-county territory in West Virginia. She enjoys meeting new customers and collaborating with her team members and other stakeholders. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, gardening, and playing with her dogs.

Judy received an Associate in Applied Science/Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management with a minor in Spanish from West Virginia State University. She received her Master of Industrial Relations from West Virginia University College of Graduate Studies.

WiNUP PARLIAMENTARIAN

Dorothy Stoler

Dorothy Stoler
Parliamentarian

Dorothy Stoler has held the position of Parliamentarian for WiNUP since 2015. She is responsible for helping facilitate the transaction of business and promoting harmony and cooperation within the WiNUP meetings. Dorothy's knowledge of and experience with parliamentary procedures along with her knowledge of the WiNUP organization contributes to the success of her position. Stoler has been a WiNUP member since 1993, and continues to be active in the Indiana Chapter.

Dorothy served as Chapter Chair for the Indiana Chapter for five years and was the International Board Representative for three years. She retired from NIPSCO, one of the largest fully regulated utility companies in the United States, based in Merrillville, Indiana, after 42 years in the position of gas and electric distribution engineer. Other jobs included engineering supervisor, gas street supervisor, and scheduling supervisor. Stoler earned an Associate and Bachelor in the School of Technology and in 2001, a Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University. In 2002, she presented her Master's paper in Paris, France, on the deregulation of the utility industry. She was an active member of the Michigan City American Association of University women (AAUW) from 1999 to 2024, and served as secretary and treasurer of the AAUW from 2018 tp 2024, and has served as its president from 2013 to 2017. For twelve years Stoler has coordinated the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program, which distributes 3 books a year to the second and third graders in the Michigan City School District. She has served various positions on her local homeowner's association board since 2008 including board member 2008 to 2010, 2011 to present as secretary, and 2021 to present as treasurer. She has been a member of Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church since 2017 and is a member of the PAC (People Affected by Cancer) group since its inception in 2024.

Lisa Morinini

Lisa Morinini
Executive Director

Lisa Morinini has over 35 years of experience in management, communications and marketing. Prior to establishing her own consulting firm, she held management positions at small, medium and large professional services companies in the water, energy and environment industries. In this capacity, she led the development and implementation of strategic plans, managed internal and external communication plans, and managed public relations and marketing initiatives.

Lisa became the Executive Director for WiNUP in January 2019 and is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the organization’s activities. Lisa works directly with the Executive Committee to implement the goals and objectives identified each year.  Prior to joining WiNUP, Lisa served as the Executive Director of The Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment (AWWEE) in which she was responsible for the Association’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. Prior to being appointed the Executive Director, Lisa was one of seven women that founded AWWEE which was established to promote the success of women in the fields of water, energy and environment by providing members with multiple venues for learning, sharing and growth. She also held the role of Treasurer/Secretary of the Board where she was responsible for finances, budgets and fiscal oversight.

Lisa is a California native and lives in Folsom, California.
