On Saturday, December 6th from 10am-noon, we are holding a Duneland STEM Expo to celebrate our Duneland Schools students who are competing in Robotics and Science Olympiad. This will be an opportunity for our Elementary, Intermediate, Middle, and High School robotics teams to scrimmage together to help with their robot designs and driving skills. Our elementary students who are still building their robots will scrimmage together on a bumper-tag, driving skills competition. And, our Middle and High School Science Olympiad teams will be demonstrating their competitions and testing their designs.

Corpus Christi members will decorate 60 doors for residents of the Alameda Nursing Home.

Mommy's Haven Residential Home
WiNUP Metro Chicago STEM/Community Outreach committee is partnering with Mommy’s Haven this holiday season. The organization is in the process of opening a second location, located in Lowell, IN, which will serve as more independent living for their families after they graduate from the program. The home is currently under construction; however, it will be ready for deep cleaning mid-December.

Help ring in some holiday cheer with the Salvation Army by collecting donations at the upper-level entrance of JCPenney in Merrillville! Shifts are 2 hours in length and run from 10am - 12pm and 12pm - 2pm.
