Janet Rehberg--Chief Strategy Officer & Vice President of Engineering, Tri-County Electric Cooperative/WiNUP Past President
Janet Rehberg is currently the Chief Strategy Officer & Vice President of Engineering for Tri-County Electric Cooperative where she oversees engineering, right-of-way, staking, system operations, lighting, business development, community and legislative affairs. Previously, she has worked for American Electric Power (AEP) and Ohio's Electric Cooperatives in various engineering and management roles. Janet is passionate about women empowering other women and that is why she's been an active member of WiNUP for over 15 years. In 2014, she served as the International President and introduced STEM as the organization's national philanthropic because she believes in mentoring future generations of women.

 

Judith Talavera--President/COO, AEP Texas
Judith Talavera is President and Chief Operating Officer for AEP Texas, responsible for the company's operations in south and west Texas. Previously, she was director of Regulatory Services for AEP Texas since November 2008. Judith began her career with AEP in 2000 as Manager of Governmental Affairs for AEP Texas. Before joining AEP, she worked in a number of legislative positions for former Texas State Senator Mario Gallegos, Jr., including serving as legislative director. Community service and involvement has been a vital part of Judith's career. She currently serves as board member on the Senate Hispanic Research Council, Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation, United Way of the Coastal Bend, and Texas State Aquarium.

Amanda Townsend--Director, Customer Engagement, Oncor
Amanda Townsend is Director of Contact Center Operations at Oncor. Her role spans all customer engagement channels, from social media to text platforms. With almost 20 years of experience focusing on customers, she challenges her teams to think big when it comes to creating solutions and look for new ways to leverage data and technology. During these unprecedented times, she is finding new ways to balance and integrate her two young children with her daily work which has led to an increase in her other hobby, wine tasting!

Teri Berliner, Facilitator--WiNUP Past President
Teri Berliner retired from AEP in September 2018 after 33 years of service. While there, she held a variety of positions, both on the regulated and unregulated sides of the company. Most of her years were spent in management in the areas of load research, energy efficiency, demand-side management, customer billing, credit policy, business planning and performance management. Teri has been a member of WiNUP since 1997 and has held several leadership positions including the Ohio Chapter Chair and Vice-Chair as well as International Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President. She has chaired many local and international committees. Teri received the WiNUP OAK Award in 2006 and the Honorary Life Award in 2017.
